Sentinel Series
The Dog Tag Collection: This collection was inspired by a pair of vintage, Vietnam-made novelty dog tags—part of a non-official practice where young soldiers carried stamped novelty tags alongside their standard-issued ones. While many featured different phrases, the pair Philippe found included a simple Vietnamese line that casually expressed their fondness for whiskey.
Each piece is crafted using a mix of deadstock, vintage, and military-spec materials, including rolled-edge dog tags and 2.4mm ball bead chains, selected for their weight, durability, and lived-in feel.
To carry that legacy forward, Philippe restored a vintage 1960s Model IV Impact Press. Each character is struck into metal—creating natural variations that give every tag its own soul. Hand-pressed by Philippe, these dog tags are made to hold the words that define the wearer.
DOG TAGS
Each tag is individually pressed by Philippe on a restored 1960s Model IV Impact Press. Unlike modern laser engraving, this antique machine leaves a physical imprint — each character showing subtle variations in depth and texture depending on the pressure — making every tag one of a kind.
Includes:
Two yellow brass rolled-edge dog tags, true to original military form (made in USA)
One 18K Gold plated chain brass clasp
One 18k Gold plated ball bead chain necklace (military spec 26”, 2.4mm ball bead chain, 18k gold plated 304 stainless steel, lead and nickel free)
Choice of custom hand-pressed lettering on both dog tags
2 black silicone silencers
*Your tag will age gracefully — expect light wear and a natural patina that develops with time.
After purchase, you’ll receive an email to confirm your custom engraving. The first dog tag can include a first name or a first name with last initial. The second tag may feature a nickname or a short phrase of 2–3 words.
